Princess Charlene of Monaco has given her first interview since the birth of her twins, whom she seems completely mesmerized by.
According to People magazine, South African-born Princess Charlene during a recent interview with Paris Match magazine gushed about her newborn twins with her 56-year-old husband Prince Albert II. Charlene on 10 December gave birth to the royal pair, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, who were born two weeks premature by Caesarean section.
"A very protective instinct was born in me at the same time," the 36-year-old Princess told Paris Match.
"Seeing them grow is marvellous. It changes lives forever."
And admitting that she's completely smitten and in awe of her first babies, she added: "You know, what's amazing is that between morning and night, they've already changed. Their faces are constantly evolving.
"It's difficult to say now which of us they resemble the most. What I can tell you is that they are both very active and very expressive. They are beautiful, adorable - I'm crazy in love with them."

Born Charlene Wittstock in Rhodesia, the Princess moved to South Africa with her family when she was eleven and went to school in Benoni. Charlene grew up to become an Olympic swimmer and later became a global ambassador for the Special Olympics.
She met Albert II, Prince of Monaco, in 2000, and the palace announced their engagement in 2010. And while Prince Andrew notoriously has two illegitimate children with two different women, the newborn boy Jacques will officially become heir to the throne of Monaco regardless of whether he was the first born.
